Accessing Time Tracking
Step 1: Open Tools Menu
From your bottom navigation bar, tap Tools.
Step 2: Select Time Tracking
In the Tools menu, tap Time Tracking to open the time tracking screen.
Creating a Time Entry
Step 1: Add Time Entry
On the Time Tracking screen, tap Add Time Entry or the plus icon.
Step 2: Assign to Client
Tap Assign to or Select Client. A list of your clients appears. Select the client for whom you're tracking time.
Step 3: Set Hourly Rate
Enter the rate per hour for this time entry. This is the amount you'll charge the client for each hour worked.
Step 4: Enter Time Details
Configure the time entry information:
Task or Project Name:
Brief description of the work performed.
Date:
When the work was done. Use the date picker to select the correct date.
Start and End Time:
Specify when you started and finished the work, or enter total hours directly.
Notes:
Additional details about the work performed, tasks completed, or project context.
Step 5: Save Time Entry
Tap Save to record the time entry.
Managing Time Entries
View All Entries:
The Time Tracking screen displays all recorded time entries organized by client and date.
Filter Entries:
View time by specific client, date range, or billing status (billed or unbilled).
Edit Time Entries:
Tap any entry to modify:
Change hours or rates
Update descriptions
Adjust dates
Add notes
Delete Entries:
Remove incorrect entries by opening them and selecting delete.
Billing Tracked Time
Convert time entries into invoices:
Step 1: Select Unbilled Time
On the Time Tracking screen, view entries that haven't been billed yet.
Step 2: Tap Bill
Select the time entry or entries you want to invoice and tap Bill.
Step 3: Create Invoice Screen Opens
The app opens the Create New Invoice screen with:
Selected client already filled in
Time entries automatically added as line items
Each entry shows description, hours worked, and rate
Total amount calculated automatically
Step 4: Review and Customize
Check the invoice details:
Verify time entries are accurate
Add additional line items if needed
Set payment terms and due date
Add notes or payment instructions
Step 5: Send Invoice
Complete and send the invoice to your client. The billed time entries are now marked as billed in your time tracking.

Record Immediately:
If adding time manually, do it right after completing work while details are fresh.

Include specific task descriptions so clients understand what they're paying for.

Regular Billing:
Bill tracked time regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) to maintain steady cash flow.
