How to Create & Send an Estimate

Estimates (or Quotes) allow you to propose a price to a client before the work begins.

1. Start a New Estimate

  1. Navigate to the Estimate Page from the homepage.

  2. Tap the + Create New Estimate button.

2. Add Estimate Details

Fill in the details exactly as you would for an invoice:

Core Information-

  • Client: Select who this estimate is for.

  • Items: Add the services or products you are quoting.

  • Discounts & Tax: Apply any potential discounts or necessary taxes.

Photos & Notes

  • Add any terms or conditions in the notes.

  • Attach reference photos if needed.

Note: Unlike invoices, Estimates do not have a "Payments" section because no money has changed hands yet.

3. Review & Sign

  • Preview: Check the layout and customize the template if desired.

  • Signatures: You can sign it yourself, or enabling Request Client Signature is highly recommended for estimates to get formal approval.

  • Tap Save & Continue.

4. Send to Client

  • Email: Send the quote directly to your client's inbox.

  • Convert to Invoice: Once the client accepts the estimate, you can open it later and tap Convert to Invoice to save time!
